So happy more women are gaming!

My FYP is fyp’ing HARD right now, and honestly? Love it.

I’m seeing more and more women! Women who used to say things like,

“I don’t get video games!” 

Are suddenly grabbing controllers and jumping headfirst into the chaos.

And I mean all in.

They’re joining their spouses. They’re hopping into Warzone lobbies.

It’s an instant follow for me.

The squeals. The laughs. The sweet ones turning into villains mid match! I love a fellow villain gaming girl.

This is the kind of take over, I can get behind.

They’re not here to be quiet anymore. They’re not supporting in the background. They’re sprinting into danger, forgetting how to crouch, and still having the time of their lives.

If it’s with anxiety? It’s okay. I’ve played for decades and I still have mini panic attacks in matches.

And the best part?

They’re not trying to be good. They’re trying to have fun.

Which, let’s be real, has been completely forgotten by a lot of gamers.

These women are not easing into it. They are fully present!

Also, shout out! I’m not forgetting the guys who got them to try it.

I’ve watched content where a woman knocked someone, giggled, and ran the opposite direction while her partner finished the other guy off and then, celebrated her!

And us gaming ladies? We know what’s next.

She’s gonna want her own setup. (Really, who likes to share?)

Her own headset. (Maybe cat ears. I’m a toxic girl, I’ve got devil horns.)

And she deserves it. 

But let’s be real…

While we are celebrating the rise of new gaming Queens…

We need to talk about that red flag you will absolutely run into sooner than later.

At first? You hear their voice and you’re excited. Another girl!  YES. Finally.

And then they open their mouth and ruin it.

Ugh.

The would be bond.

The potential girl squad magic.

We don’t do fragile ego games around here.

It’s about fun.

Loud fun.

Maybe, slightly unhinged fun.
