One night, mid chaos in a round of Plunder with my bestie(Steph) and her husband (Alex) , he casually mentioned that the controller sticks were murdering his thumbs. Valid complaint especially after hours of looting and respawning like champs.

While we were taking a break (getting a snack), I hopped on Amazon, curious if anything could help. And LO AND BEHOLD, thumbstick cushions. Inexpensive, simple, and apparently designed to save your precious gamer digits. Because I’m a brat with a shopping habit, I ordered two sets. One for him, and obviously one for me. The package was tiny enough to sneak past the husband radar, shout out to the Amazon driver for discreetly tossing it in the mailbox. Who was shopping? Not me. 👀

Now here’s the real kicker: I have rheumatoid arthritis. My hands and wrists? First ones to throw hands with me when the pain flares up. But gaming is my therapy, and I’m not giving it up without a fight. These little stick cushions? Total game changer. No more sore thumbs. I didn't even realize how much my thumbs took a beating while gaming. They add just the right amount of cushion. Thumb clouds, honestly.

I’ve been using them for over two years now. Tried playing without them once when my controller died mid-match. Had to back out just to transfer the cushions to my backup controller (yes, you should always have one). That’s how serious this love is.

See in the video took me less than a minute, you’ll notice how easy they are to slip on. No tools, no fuss! J

ust comfort and better control. Whether you’ve got chronic hand issues or just want more comfort during long sessions, I swear by these things.

Just my little ole opinion on gaming accessories, but if you’ve got sore thumbs, I promise these are worth a try. 🎮💜
