If you’ve read any of my blogs, you know that Amazon and I have a love-hate relationship. Wait, that's wrong I love Amazon and my husband hates that I do late night shopping on it. But when I stumble across mom finds on Amazon that actually make my life as a gaming mom easier, cleaner, or more comfortable, they’re not just a midnight purchase, they make life a little easier. And trust me, these three have more than earned my full attention and I had to share they are must haves! Not just for my gaming area, either! Okay… well, my

foot rest stays put. But the screen cleaner gets used on every electronic screen in this house. And the air duster? That one helps with Miss Riley’s never-ending floof. Specially around my pc, my other baby!

Take the Screen Mom screen cleaner. I’m a mom, so of course I’d buy this just on the name alone. Why is it that you can only really see the gunk when the screens are off? This cleaner doesn’t just wipe it all away, it does it without streaks. One quick spray, a swipe of the included cloth, and suddenly my setup looks like I have my life together.

Then there was the day I was vacuuming Riley’s dog glitter from under my desk and I saw what the inside of my PC looked like not just around it. Now listen, I don’t like to mess with my PC, it’s like a delicate baby I’m afraid to hurt. But I grabbed a screwdriver (yes, I turned the pc off first!) and decided to face the horror. I screwed off the glass panel and… it wasn’t just dusty. It was a full-on snowstorm. So I grabbed my compressed air duster, plugged it in with the included USB cord to charge, and impatiently waited. Turns out, it was already charged. (Good thing, because patience is not my strong suit.) I turned it on and watched the chaos fly. It had three different air speeds. I even filmed it because it was that bad. The difference? Night and day. My fans are quieter, my PC runs smoother, and I no longer feel like I have to run out for bread, milk, and eggs before a storm.

And because my parents didn’t give me the tall gene, my legs have always dangled while I game. Cute when you’re six, not so much when you’re an adult trying to focus on Warzone. That’s where my foot rest comes in the ultimate short-girl gaming hack. It flips, so one side is flat and the other rocks. I use the rocking side because, even though my kids are grown, I still have that mom “rocking syndrome.” Now I can switch between criss cross applesauce (like a toddler, with the numb legs to prove it) and a relaxed foot rest position.

So while a lot of my purchases start out as “impulse buys,” these ones delivered.
